Description
Cycling or Running Training Zone Assessment (VO2max Test) Requirements:
- Ability to run or cycle for 20 to 30-minutes
- Avoid intense exercising for two days before testing (48 hours before the test) and any workouts over 60-minutes the day prior (24 hours before the test).
- Fast for 6 hours before testing to include liquid foods; drink only plain water.
- There are no caffeinated or stimulating beverages, supplements, or smoking for 6 hours before the test.
- Please budget 90 minutes for consultation, setup, and testing.
- The actual body composition test takes 5-minutes
- The actual RMR test takes 20-minutes.
- The actual VO2max test takes 20-30 minutes, including warm-up and cool-down.
